
Tile Set: These are screenshots from a 3D scene composed in Unreal Engine 4. This mid-fantasy scene was formed by creating a tile-set: a set of objects which can be copied and arranged to make a scene. Although the resulting throne room is massive, only 28 unique objects were used to bring it to life.




These are all of the assets used to make the throne room. Their geometry is actually quite simple, leaving the texture and lighting maps to give the objects a sense of depth. This technique is used to save processing power when rendering a 3D space.
