Tieced: One does not have to outright lie to deceive. Rather, all they have to do is present a perspective which is subjective. Typical lying is a corruption of logic, but this form of deception relies on emotion. My senior Thesis explored this theme in the form of a 2D puzzle-platforming game. Players delve into a mysterious temple and interact with a number of odd characters.
Players explore four areas of the temple as they face puzzles and platforming challenges. The Entrance Halls, Tower, Chasm, and Labyrinth each offer an increase in difficulty; as well as more and more conflicting details about the temple’s origin and purpose. Who the player trusts, ultimately determines the fate of the temple and its inhabitants.
These are examples of assets used in the game. Included above are: all of the characters the player gets to meet, some of the interactable objects from the environment, and a few of the UI elements.
This is a small frame by frame look at some of the playable character's animations.
